Mariscos La Corita
If you're ever cruising down Avalon Blvd in Los Angeles and craving something bold and flavorful, Mariscos La Corita is that hidden gem you didn’t know you needed. Nestled at 4504 Avalon Blvd, this spot serves up authentic Mexican seafood that locals swear by — and once you try it, you’ll understand why.
The vibe here? Totally casual. Think of it as the kind of place where you can roll in with your crew, bring the kids, and even hang out on the outdoor patio with your dog. It’s lively, welcoming, and has just the right amount of noise to feel alive without being overwhelming.
Now let’s talk food — because that’s really the main event. One bite of their Empanadas and you’re hooked. Crispy on the outside, packed with savory seafood on the inside, they're a crowd favorite for a reason. Craving something hearty? Their Chimichanga de Camaron hits the spot with a perfect blend of crunch and juicy shrimp goodness. And if you’re feeling a little adventurous, go for the Pescado Sarandeado — just make sure to ask for the price ahead. It’s one of those dishes that makes you forget about everything else on the table.
People love coming here in groups, and it’s easy to see why. The portions are generous, and the Mixta platter is ideal for sharing. You get a little bit of everything — a seafood lover’s dream. Service is friendly, the atmosphere feels like a laid-back backyard party, and you won’t have to dress up to enjoy a seriously good meal.
Whether you're local or just passing through LA, Mariscos La Corita brings the kind of authentic taste and down-to-earth energy that keeps you coming back.

One of the Best Mariscos in LA! Great service, great food, quick service. Real open air seating, Rosarito Vibes, minus the beach. Will be back!
Food is awesome, empanadas are always good. One of my favorite lunch spots I would definitely recommend to try if your near by
Came here on a Sunday it was not busy which was great . Food came out pretty fast as well maybe 8-10 minutes . We ordered the Pescado Sarandeado which was an absolute favorite 10/10 would get this again . Very well seasoned and cooked and it was very delicious. It was enough for 3 people . The location kind of seems as it's in the back of someone's home and they made there back yard into the seating area. Not pictured but we also order the camarón a la Diabla which had the perfect amount of kick of spice not too spicy just enough .
The service was good as well as the fried shrimp but the shrimp cocktail was missing avocado. That is what adds the punch. I was disappointed.
